I am looking to buy a condo or bantam house in Nashville within the next year. I will be in Nashville for only 6 months at a time. I am looking to rent out the condo or house for 6 month periods, Deo volente up to a year if need be. Would you recommend

Should I move to Nashville, TN? How is it there?

I am 29 and my fiance and our 2 dogs energetic in Boston now and would really love to live somewhere else. I have heard the Nashville area is great? Any input? Is it a nice place, is it elementary to meet people? How is housing and job market?
I living 25 miles east of Nashville (grew up about 2 hours away), and my brother-in-law lives in Boston (Lexington), so I have a smidgen experience to draw from. You can probably expect a bit of a culture shock. For one, the people are friendlier.
