Choose a sector of the NYSE and explain its relationship to Gold spot prices?

I scarcity help with this question, I know that financials are probably the most affected (Other than mining)... Do any of you guys have some original ideas on the substance? Any help would be apreciated... Thanks!

Well it looks like a alarming question but actually it isn't.

1) All investors look at the usual stuff e.g. PE Ratio,PB ratio, Return on Equity(ROE) and dividend yields etc.of their chosen sector BUT

2) these do not give

When you discover the price of gold is $900/ounce on the NYSE, and silver is $13.00/ounce, does the 'ounce' refer to ONE OUNCE (28.35g) or ONE TROY OUNCE (31.10g)?
